Welcome to a half-day seminar on solutions, action and leadership for Global Sustainability. The seminar will take place at The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm on Thursday, 19 May 2011.

Through panel debates and networking, Nobel Laureates, scientists, policy-makers, entrepreneurs, and representatives from business, civil society, and culture will discuss solutions and possible actions for global sustainability.

The seminar is organised by Stockholm Resilience Centre, Stockholm Environment Institute and Forum for Design and Sustainable Enterprise.

- Gunilla Carlsson, Minister for International Development Cooperation (Sweden)

- Mario Molina,  Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 1995 (Mexico)

- Pavan Sukhdev, Yale University, UNEP’s Green Economy Initiative

- Sunita Narain, Director General, Centre for Science and Environment (India)

- Sten Nordin,  Mayor, The City of Stockholm (Sweden)

- Frances Westley, JW McConnell Chair in Social Innovation, Waterloo University (Canada)
