Sten Nordin

Sten Nordin is the Mayor of Stockholm.

Nordin has been the Mayor and Chairman of the Executive Board of the City of Stockholm since 2008. He is also Chairman of Stockholm International Fairs. Since 2003, Nordin has been the Chairman of the Stockholm Regional Section of the Moderate Party.

He was a Member of the Swedish Parliament between 2006-2008.

With an academic background in Economics and Sociology from Uppsala University, Nordin worked at the Swedish Taxpayers’ Association betwen 1985 and 1988.

He has also been employed by Supreme Administrative Court Justice Gustaf Petrén in the Civil Rights Movement Freedom in Sweden, working with liberties and rights issues.
