Bonnie McCay

Bonnie McCay is Professor in governance and resource management at Rutgers State University.

Her research focus on challenges and policies for managing marine resources, particularly fisheries.

Her books include “The Question of the Commons”, “Oyster Wars and the Public Trust” and “Enclosing the Commons”.

She currently serves on the Science Advisory Committees for the California Current Ecosystem-based Management Initiative and the NY Ocean and Great Lakes Ecosystem Conservation Council and heads the Resource Policy Committee of the American Fisheries Society.
