Andreas Carlgren

Swedish Minister for the Environment.

Carlgren has since 2006 held the position as Swedish Minister for the Environment. Between 2000-2006 he was Director-General for the Swedish Integration Board. Prior to this, he worked for eight years as Deputy Chair of the Swedish Centre Party.

In the period between 1994-1998 he was a Member of the Committee on Education in the Swedish Riksdag (Swedish Parliament).

Carlgren has his academic background from Teacher training studies at Stockholm University, and has previously worked on environmental development programmes for businesses, including environmental audits.
